Harm-Jan Wessels, CEO - Founder Harm-Jan Wessels, CEO - Founder
Harm-Jan Wessels has been active since the early nineties in healthcare IT. As co-founder of Applicare Medical Imaging B.V. he led the development of Picture Archive and Communication Systems (PACS) in radiology. After the acquisition of Applicare by General Electric Harm-Jan held several management positions within GE Healthcare. Next to his role as CEO, he was the vendor-chair for IHE Netherlands from 2006-2009 and is a member of the IHE International board. As CEO, Harm-Jan focuses on large accounts and business development.
                                
Bernie van Welt, Chief Operating Officer Bernie van Welt, Chief Operating Officer
Bernie van Welt has held several roles in IT and software development and moved to Healthcare IT in 1998 where he held several project management, operations and general management positions. Most recently Bernie was site lead and senior engineering manager for the Zeist development team of GE Healthcare IT. Bernie joined Forcare as COO January 2012 and his responsibilities are product development, customer support and the project management office.

Andries Hamster started his career in the mid nineties as software engineer with Applicare Medical Imaging B.V. He contributed to the development of workstations, web based distribution and archiving systems for radiology, and led international development teams in several engineering management positions. Andries has extensive experience with the integration of clinical information systems according the principles of IHE. As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Andries is responsible for Marketing and Sales at Forcare.
 
Mark Sinke, Chief Technology Officer - Founder Mark Sinke, Chief Technology Officer - Founder
Mark Sinke also started his career with Applicare Medical Imaging B.V., where he developed from software engineer to the role of architect. After Applicare’s acquisition by GE Healthcare, Mark was responsible as architect for GE Healthcare IT’s global (software) platform development. Mark has a wide range of experience in the development of medical and clinical (software) products. He is an expert in DICOM and IHE, and has (co)authored various IHE profiles. Mark is CTO and is responsible for the technical vision and architecture of the Forcare product line.

Jan van de Kraats, Member of the Board

Jan van de Kraats, Member of the Board
Since 2010, Jan van de Kraats is member of the board and advisor of the Forcare management team. He obtained a Master’s Degree in business Law and worked in legal and senior management positions for multinationals like Oracle Corporation and AT&T-Unisource. Jan also was partner in a Dubai based law office. Early this century he became co-owner of Eurad Teleradiology. Currently, Jan is a non-executive board member for a few IT and healthcare related companies.
